EXPRESS YOURSELF Expression: a statement, sentence, story, poem, picture, a look. A facial expression, an idiom, an emotional expression observable through verbal or non verbal behaviour that communicates emotion. Expression occurs with or without self-awareness or intention, and in linguistics, is the transfer of emotional feeling into communication with others.
Our mission as artists, visual or contextual, is to convey meaning, transfer messages, express ourselves. Through the arts, we are able to reach out and touch one anothers hearts, to strike chords with each other, to feel part of something greater than ourselves. Each month, we will feature an artist, writer, sculptor, creator. We invite you to send your expressions for inclusion in monthly features.
